Updates and Intros

Hey everyone!

Its been a while, so i thought I should post some updates for you ladies :)! Firstly, I would just like to give a big THANK YOU to everyone for their awesome words of encouragement! I really appreciate all of the support :)!!

Some good news! After many many requests, full-sized bottles are now available in my Etsy shop! I hope you guys like them :):)!

An exciting announcement! I've decided that I want to do a Charity collection, and do my part to help the world. The charity I have chosen to support is Save Tigers Now because: 1. I LOVE animals and would be sooo sad if Tigers went extinct before scientists figured out how to make mini exotic animals (kidding....or not :-p), 2. I'm really against deforestation and animal hunting, 3. The Bengal Tiger is my Sorority's mascot (so fierce, like the ladies of Delta Phi Omega <3)!!!

Instead of doing a whole collection at once, I will release one shade at a time every few weeks. I will be donating $1 from each bottle purchased to STN :)!

Introducing the first shade from my Charity collection-- Tigress

Tigress is a black jelly polish full of orange bar glitter as well as holographic gold, and red accents. The polish is much more holographic than I can capture in a picture. I hope you guys love it so that we can save the tigers together!! :) Check it out in my shop

I have one more little update for you all! GlitterDaze Psychedelic Collection will be releasing next week. I am SOOO excited and I hope you guys are too!!

A new collection-- Simply Spring

Hello my dear lovelies! As it is currently almost 70 degrees outside, a spring collection seems very fitting! My inspiration for this collection was spring cocktails. Now we can all lay out by the pool with our delicious cocktails and matching manicures :)!! 

April Rain

April Rain is an extra shimmery and sparkly turquoise blue jelly polish with various different sizes of blue, seafoam green, and silver glitters. 

                           

Recipe: 2 oz Vodka, 1/2 oz lime juice, 1/2 oz dry vermouth, and lime peel for garnish

Sex on the Beach

Sex on the Beach is a shimmery peach jelly polish with lots of pink and gold micro glitter as well as large gold square and large light pink hex glitters. 

Recipe: 1 1/2 oz Vodka, 3/4 oz peach schnapps, 1/2 oz creme de cassis, 2 oz orange juice, 2 oz cranberry juicy, orange slice and maraschino cherry for garnish. 

Flirtini

Flirtini is a fun and flirty pastel pink glitter-packed polish. This polish consists of pink and iridescent  microfine glitter, light blue, chartreuse, and holographic purple glitter, as well as silver and holographic hot pink bar glitter! The iridescent glitter is hard to capture on camera, but it makes this polish extra shimmery in the sun!

Recipe: 1 park X-Rated (my favvv!), 1 part vodka, 1 splash cointreau, and 1 splash cranberry juice

Minty Mojito

Minty Mojito is a spring green jelly polish with a variety of green and gold glitters in different shapes and sizes. I hope this one will appeal to the square glitter lovers out there!

Parfait Amour

Parfait Amour is a shimmery pastel light purple jelly polish filled with light pink, gold, silver, and a liiitle bit of light green hex glitters. This one is super springy! Also, parfait amour is not technically a cocktail, its an actual ingredient, but i loved it as the name for this polish so i used it anyway hehe! 

Recipe (Cocktail: Perfect Purple): 1 shot parfait amour, 1 shot cointreau, 1 shot vodka, 1 shot lemon juice

These polishes are all able to be layered over other colors, but will also be opaque in 2-3 coats (i recommend 3). They will be available in 5ml mini bottles on my Etsy shop on Monday March 5, 2012 for $4.50 each. 

Several people have contacted me about carrying full-sized bottles, and i have some good news. Full sized (12.5 mL) bottles will be available soooon! I might sell them exclusively here, but I will keep everyone updated!!
